.Synopsis for Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out
60 NM including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote
Blanche Bays...

Light to occasionally breezy onshore flow will prevail over the
coming days as high pressure settles in over the east Gulf. There
is a low chance of showers with a passing weak disturbance north
of the region Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Hazardous conditions
are not anticipated. The next chance of showers and thunderstorms
will begin Friday and continue through the weekend as a slow
moving system traverses the north Gulf states.

Daily chances of at least patchy marine fog will begin overnight
tonight into Monday as the southerly fetch advects warm moist air
over cooled shelf waters.

Areas of fog, mainly during the nighttime and morning hours, will
impact the marine areas for a good portion of the week. Absent of
any substantial warming of water temperatures as the week
progresses, the fog potential might not be completely eliminated
until the next front moves into the area next weekend. Otherwise,
light winds and low seas will prevail.
