SYNOPSIS FOR THE GULF OF MEXICO
937 PM EST WED DEC 7 2016

.SYNOPSIS...A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY EXTENDING FROM SW FLORIDA TO
THE SW GULF WILL DRIFT NORTHWARD OVERNIGHT AND REACH THE CENTRAL
GULF THU MORNING. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL EMERGE OFF THE COASTS OF
TEXAS AND LOUISIANA THU MORNING AND GRADUALLY MERGE WITH THE OLD
FRONT. STRONG TO GALE FORCE WINDS WILL SPREAD SOUTHWARD ACROSS
MUCH OF THE WESTERN GULF BEHIND THIS NEW COLD FRONT THU THROUGH
LATE FRI AS IT REACHES THE SOUTHERN GULF. WINDS AND SEAS WILL
DIMINISH VERY SLOWLY SAT AND SAT NIGHT ACROSS THE SW GULF AS THE
FRONT SINKS INTO THE NW CARIBBEAN. THE NEXT FRONT IS EXPECTED TO
MOVE INTO THE NW GULF WATERS MON.
